Master Karim Seirafian, son of the legendary late Grand Master Sadegh Seirafian, is one of the most notable third generation Seirafian masters. His rugs show obsessive perfection in geometry and mechanical execution. This is not a coincidence, as he is indeed an engineer in his academic training who decided to follow the family's tradition of carpet production. He is probably the best among the third generation and perhaps the most eligible successor to his uncle and father, Grand Master Mohammad and Sadegh Seirafian, in the Seirafian kingdom of Persian carpet.
